This A2179 MacBook Air from 2020 came in with a badly cracked LCD panel. As you can see it took quite a hit on the right-hand side of the screen and caused white lines to form along the cracks. The display itself stayed black, with no signs of the image on the screen other than the cracks that were visible.
This type of damage is pretty common on the newer model macs. When the LCD panel gets cracked, it can cause the entire screen to go black. Many clients believe their computer has additional issues because the whole screen is black, but in reality, it is just the LCD crack that is causing the no image on the screen issues.
Once the LCD panel was replaced, the computer worked perfectly again. By replacing just the broken part in the screen, I am able to provide MacBook Air screen repair for less than most shops. I use the same high-quality LCD panels that Apple uses when they make these display assemblies, so the result is really great.
